The Center for Crime Victim Services is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Governor. The Board is made up of members that are required by Vermont law. If a board member's term expires and they wish to continue serving for another term, they may do so while their official re-appointment is pending. Painting of a sunset.

From July 2020 through January 2021, CCVS board meetings were exempt from open meeting law. That exemption was reversed effective with February 2021 meetings onward.
